Formica® Laminate in F8241 Earthenware, with its captivating textures, took centre stage in the design narrative for the Dutch Design Week Business Lounge in the Netherlands.
A collaborative effort involving design studio Daphna Laurens, Evelien Reich from Elle Decoration, and supplier Blok Plaatmateriaal brought this lounge to life, rooted in the fusion of vibrant colours. The goal was to craft an environment radiating warmth, liveliness and optimism, intentionally avoiding the conventional black, white, or grey palette.
At the heart of the lounge was a remarkable 12-meter-long bar in Earthenware, winding through the space seamlessly and transforming into a versatile hub—a coffee haven, a press and tours desk, and a working station for the press. As part of the Plus Color collection, Earthenware's MicroDot and AR Plus® textures added depth and nuance to the spatial element tying together the different areas of the Business Lounge.
Formica® Laminate, known for its versatility and durability, seamlessly integrated into various elements of the Business Lounge, from tabletops to panels, ensuring a cohesive and visually stunning experience.
